I have completed a 200 hour Barkan (Heated Hatha) Training, 100 hour Yin Yoga Training and 50 hour Trauma Informed Training, all certified with Yoga Alliance. I have experience in teaching privately, in work places or job sites, online and can offer recorded video lessons to people of various levels, ages, body types and skepticisms. No matter if it's a group of beginners or advanced students - I aim to make every class authentic, fun and comfortable for all involved. I believe Yoga should be accessible for everyone, in any life circumstance.
Incorporating Yoga into your routine can help enhance your health, increase strength flexibility and ideal alignment as well as reducing symptoms of stress, depression and anxiety. Practising just 15-30 minutes of Yoga each day can make a big difference to your body and mind, increasing balance and adaptability. No matter what your level or time commitment, the benefits of a regular practise can be seen quite quickly.
Life gets busy and work often takes priority, Yoga has shown improvements in the workplace by easing stress, reducing fatigue, adding to a routine and increasing concentration. I can tailor classes to your individual or the groups body, mindset and needs including short morning and lunchtime sessions or more lengthy afterwork sessions in either a Hatha or Yin style (or a bit of both!)
I have completed a Counselling Course in Existential Well-Being as well as Parental and Childhood Mental Health and Trauma informed Teaching for Social Impact. I can offer tailored one to one counselling sessions or a combination of counselling and Yin Yoga to explore any issues you may be facing in a safe and empathetic environment. Personalised plans, designed to encourage your own authentic version of well being to suit your lifestyle and goals. Consultation consists of a one hour initial session to assist in developing an individuals plan. Once the plan has begun, a half hour follow up session is held a week later to discuss any challenges, benefits and modifications which may be needed. A second follow up is held a fortnight following to discuss progress and set intentions for the future.
